This Weekend: the Shadows Rising Saga Finale Begins!

The Law is clear: Order must be restored, so the world must be erased. No matter the price, no matter who pays. But the Old World Order doesn't understand yet who you really are. Or what you'll do when pushed too far.

How to War in AQWorlds

Battle alongside your fellow heroes to reach the Doom Spirits in the Starship Carcossa. Reach them before Astero and the Sunsetter Eos if you want to have any hope of saving your home.

Shadows Rising War / Health Meter

• The Paladin-themed / top meter is the war progress bar
• The Doom-themed / bottom meter is the HP bar. 

(If you fought through the Sandsea War, the set-up is similar, like how we represented Zhoom's HP with one of the war meters.)

For many of you, this will be the first war you've ever fought in, so we've got a few tips to help guide you through this coming encounter: 

• War Meter: Defeat your opponents to earn war tokens, then turn them in to increase the war meter. War reward chests unlock at 25% and 75%. When the meter hits 100%, it unlocks the war boss.- 
• War Tokens: There are two different kinds of tokens. Turning in 5 regular tokens to increases the meter by a regular amount. Turn in mega tokens to increase the meter by DOUBLE the normal amount.
• Goals: Raising the war meter unlocks special achievements. Depending on the war, this could be a special shop, challenge fight, cutscene, or the war boss (once the meter hits 100%).  
• War Boss: Defeat the war boss to unlock reward drops, plus the final cutscene, which will go live next week. 

You and the rest of the heroes in Lore will all be fighting together to reach a common goal: victory! With every additional hero who battles in the war, you'll reach the 100% mark that much faster... and that means you'll unlock the rewards and final cinematic cutscene sooner, too!

Shadows Rising Saga Summary

The Shadows Rising Saga began on Friday the 13th in October of 2023, and this weekend's update brings the start of Chapter 3!

In Chapter 1.1: Triad of Doom, Darkness minions are flooding out of the Solar Eclipse portal and attacking Battleon by the order of the Doom Triad. 

Battleon needs you... and so does Empress Gravelyn. She is still injured and in extreme danger. Defeat the army of Darkness before her Health Bar reaches zero or there will be irrevocable consequences.

In Chapter 1.2: Champion of Doom, three Doom Spirits that escaped the Portal. The first of the trio, the Metamorphosis Maw, seeks to ascend a new throne... by destroying the High Elves home.

In Chapter 2.1: Sandsea in Darkness, the Doom Triad's focus has turned to a new land, rich in gold and history. Now it is Pharoah Zhoom who needs your help to battle the Condemned Shadows and spreading Chaorruption tainting his beloved Sandsea.

In Chapter 2.2: Shroud of Darkness, your skill in battle is critical to successfully defending the Sandsea against the Doom Triad's dark chaotic forces. If you fail... one of your companions may need to make the ultimate sacrifice.

In Chapter 2.3: Chamber of Darkness, you must venture into the hidden palace beneath the City of Duat. Your allies and the Sandsea need your skill to stay secure... and Zhoom needs you to guard what matters to him most.

Can all these things be connected? Is it just the madness of the era, or your Eternal Dragon of Time powers attracting disaster to you? One thing is for sure: the Doom Triad will not stop until they have dominated our entire world.

Oookay, where do I begin! In addition to the previous rarities mentioned, we've now added an additional one being added.

• Infinity [NEW] (Items from Infinity which was obtained during the Tech Demo,Alpha,Beta)

Surprise Questions and Answers!?

Been getting a few questions so this is the best way to answer some of them! 

Q: The items show up as 'Common Rarity' in game - why is that?
A: That's the placeholder rarity showing. Their actual rarity will show up in a future client update. 

Q: Why can't I use a KBIoDA on the Hourglass Pet, Corrupted Chronomancer, Underworld Chronomancer?
A: Due to the nature of the mentioned classes and pet being locked behind needing the badge to fully perform by grabbing the consumables from the shop, it was decided to make these items not obtainable in the pool anymore.

Q: I spent an IoDA on a Collection Chest Pet, can I get a refund?
A: All Collection Chests are subject to the No Undo rule. These chests offer multiple items worth thousands of ACs, not just a single item, so if they are chosen even with a KBIoDA, you will not be able to refund, return, undo or exchange them.

Q: There's an item that isn't available for KB but I think should be! Where do I request it to be added?
A1: Send us a message on socials like X/Facebook Comments or through Kickstarter messeges and we'll try to get back to you.
A2: Here's already a few items that do not meet the qualifications for KBIoDA. Lair,Bride,Groom.
A3: We've recently changed the Unlucky Skeleton Key and are still currently reviewing other items for eligibility.

Under Fire in the Sandsea: Summer Boss Battles

This weekend's new boss, Kh'ain the Intruder is a big, beefy boi. He's tougher than our average release boss, but not quite at the level of a classic Challenge boss. You'll need to work to collect all the pieces of the Ifrit Assassin Lord armor set, but if you can stand the heat... the rewards are wicked-sweet.

Burning Beach is Under Attack!

Mythic Item of Digital Awesomeness?!

The Mythic Item of Digital Awesomeness (or MIoDA for short) is a miscellaneous item you will get by purchasing the 40k AdventureCoin pakage. Like the other IoDA items, it allows you to choose any item in the game when you redeem it through your Account Manager.

How to Claim your MIoDA Prize

Make sure you have a confirmed email address attached to your game account, and then follow these steps:

1. Decide on the item you want
2. Log into your Account Manager
3. Click on the "Awesome Prizes" link on the sidebar
4. You'll see a list of the IoDA tokens you have available
5. Choose from a list of ALL the eligible item rewards  
6. You'll be taken to a verification page to confirm your choice

Note: if you purchased ACs during the 24 hours before the bonus began (from 12:01 AM to 11:59 PM on Monday, June 1st), you were also given the bonus ACs. Those have already automatically been added to your account.
